That’s it for Windows 2000 support. Seems like just yesterday I was checking out the windows 2000 beta, and sure it was a buggy beta but definitely better than windows 98.
XP SP2 support looks like its ended(sp3 still available) as well but I certainly don’t see XP going away anytime soon.
The fans came out of the closet yesterday. Not as in they liked other fans of the same sex but as in its time to dust them off and turn them to full blast. It’s summer in London again and I feel like it really changes things, people, places, vibe. Whatever you want to call it, it’s different and its good. I think maybe just waking up and seeing blue sky changes people’s perspective on the day and the outdoor aspect of pubs has a major impact on social life. You want to go out, you want to sit out back and enjoy a nice beer, have a smoke and get some vitamin D.
Between the world cup, wimbledon and a tall glass of pimms, its great to be in the UK.
Tony Hawk: Ride Controller Has A Use After All (As A Skateboard).
This is incredible. For those of you not aware, Tony Hawk a legendary skateboarder has made a series of video games. His latest one, Tony Hawk Ride, has an actual toy skateboard that you use to control the game. The game was absolutely horrible and a big flop for the series. The guys in the video drill some holes into the controller and put some trucks on there and seem to actually get some use out of it.

Art on the Underground – - New Tube map cover by Barbara Kruger.
COMPETITION
Art on the Underground has now commissioned 12 Tube map covers. Vote for your favourite for a chance to win a numbered limited edition print showing all 12 Tube map covers.
Scroll through the Tube map covers in the bar at the top of this page and click on the one you like best to find out which artist created it. Then email the name of the artist and title of the cover you like best (excluding the 12 Tube map cover poster) with your answers to a few questions.
I do like the involvement in the public into the tube maps and the art in the underground. The history of the London tube map is pretty interesting.
[UPDATE] This link is cool as well, thanks Jer:

(sorry dont know how to make that link work in the new blog)
After 5 years+ of blog posts I decided to put them in the archive. Wishing I would have done this on for the May 1 reboot. Needed a fresh look and some fresh content. The main goal is to post to the blog and make a better effort to keep it up to date.
That’s it for now.
